What is blanching?
Blanching is a very new technique in which we infiltrate Hyaluronic Acid of special characteristics in areas of the face with fine wrinkles and especially in areas with a lot of movement.
For example, the wrinkles of the eyebrows, the forehead and the wrinkles that are around the mouth.
These types of wrinkles are formed by the expression, by the movement of the skin and when we want treating this type of wrinkles with botulinum toxin we generate a change in expression That is not nice. Blanching, however, allows to correct wrinkles Without removing expressiveness.
What are the advantages of Blanching?
The advantages are above all safety because in the area of the eyebrow we have a vascularization that causes a risk, although it is low, of injecting the filling into a glass. If that happens we can have a severe complication.
In this case, with this type of infiltration, we do not have that risk because the infiltration becomes so superficial, directly in the wrinkle, that there is no possibility of having any vascular type complication with Blanching.
In which areas does Blanching apply?
The main areas where we perform in Blanching are:
- Frown
- Crow's feet
- Forehead
- The peribucal zone
Is it safe to use this technique near the eyes?
All Treatments that they are made around the eyes they have to be in expert hands because the important thing in that area is not so much the wrinkle but Take care of eye health.
How long is the complete treatment?
The treatment lasts about 30 minutes and then the effect of this one usually last months depending on the patient and the type of gesturing you have.
There is a very interesting thing about Blanching; and is that when the filling has been reabsorbed we have effect because in addition to correcting the wrinkle locally by infiltration stimulates the formation of collagen of the body itself and that Effect is already permanent.
How is the recovery of Blanching?
The recuperation it's fast, in a week they are still noticed as a few dots in the infiltrated area, there is no pain and the patient can put on makeup and make a normal life.
