Invisalign - Invisible Orthodontic System

Invisalign is an invisible orthodontic system. This type of orthodontics uses a series of transparent aligners or splints that are successively put on to move the teeth from the initial position (where we have the problem) to the ideal position (where we want the teeth to be).

What is the invisalign system?

It does not just consist of the splint. From the beginning, we make a difference with the usual diagnostic method. This is because we can use the iTero scanner that eliminates the annoying takes of molds with silicone. We use a digitized optical scanner that in a matter of 5 minutes, in less than what it takes to set the silicone splints, we have some patient molds where we can already see their bad position.

In this way, we can see in which position we should leave the teeth. We also observe all kinds of shots (upper part of the mouth, lower part…) where we see the before and after. Thus, the patient already goes home with this image where we see how we have solved his initial problem of crowding, narrow arches, etc. Later, applying the treatment we can leave it in the ideal position.

On the other hand, all this information we can share with the client. In this way, at all times you can visualize all the positions of the before and after your teeth on your own phone.

Once the patient gives us the go-ahead, we can carry out the entire project or treatment connected with Invisalign. For this we use the highest quality three-dimensional molds. Thus, with our systems and work programs we can design the entire treatment in advance and make the entire sequence of aligners that then, as soon as we are satisfied, we send to be manufactured.

Subsequently, we would receive all the aligners that the patient will have to periodically replace during check-ups.

How does Invisalign work?

Each aligner or splint will perform a movement during the 7, 10 or 15 days the patient has it in the mouth depending on the case. The aligners are simple, flexible and transparent. Once placed in the mouth they will not be noticed and they will perform the movement for the specified time. After this, they give it to the next aligner who makes another movement and so on until the end of the sequence of aligners where we have the final result.
