Follicular unit hair transplantation is the preferred technique for all transplant surgeons, since natural and undetectable aesthetic results are achieved. Basically, this technique consists of extracting the follicular unit (also called graft) from the posterior area of the scalp (donor area) and implanting it in the area to be covered (receiving area). We could equate the hair transplant to a relocation or organization of the person's own hair in the areas affected by baldness.
