Why do presbyopia and cataracts appear?

From the 40-45 years, the capacity of accommodation is lost, which means that the crystalline lens loses its ability to focus and that causes tired eyes or presbyopia, that is, we begin to need glasses to be able to focus. Therefore, both presbyopia and cataracts originate in the lens.
