There is a latest and novel treatment for androgenic or androgenetic alopecia. Androgenic or androgenetic alopecia affects more and more people and many of them young women after a hormonal change that may have been the result of childbirth or pregnancy.

The patients come consulting the decrease in the thickness of their hair. The hair decreases the thickness and, in general, the hair looks weak and does not grow enough.

The novel treatment that treats this type of alopecia is a treatment that takes advantage of the stem cells that we can collect directly from the patient's scalp. A small sample is extracted and processed in a device and, in the same session, under local anesthesia it is injected as a mesotherapy treatment in the parts of the scalp that are affected with androgenetic alopecia. The results are visible after a month or two months when you can see the regeneration of the hair follicles that the patient has.

Who is this alopecia treatment indicated for?

This treatment does not work for people with total or very advanced baldness since there is a destruction of the hair follicles themselves. Instead it serves when the patient still retains his hair follicles, that is, when the follicle is in a weakened state and we can regenerate it with this stem cell therapy.

As soon as the hair follicle regenerates, the hair grows back a little stronger, gaining thickness and thickness. As a result, the patient sees her mane and hair thickness recovered again.
