Electrocoagulation of benign vulvar lesions

Vulvar tumors are low prevalence lesions, which can be treated electrocoagulation, an electrotherapy method used to destroy abnormal tissues, usually tumor, to stop bleeding.

Vulvar lesion biopsy

When areas of irregular skin or lumps arise in the genital area, a part of the skin tissue will be removed for analysis.

Removal of cervical polyps

It is done by electrocautery or with a laser. Although they are benign, in the long term they can lead to certain problems.

Placement of Bartolino gland drains

The drainage of a cyst can be done with local anesthesia or with sedation. A small incision is made in the cyst, which allows it to drain, and then places a small rubber tube (catheter) in the incision. The catheter remains in place for a maximum of six weeks to keep the incision open and facilitate complete drainage.
