The Nautical Physical Exam features the same examinations as the Professional Sailor Exam. In this type of test to obtain nautical titles, emphasis is placed on color vision. In sports titles, if you do not have color vision, navigation can be limited to daytime navigation (between sunrise and sunset). Thus, you can have your PER (Recreational Boat Skipper) title but with a limitation to daytime navigation.

In nautical medical surveys we can find a number of limitations. In any title we have the power to limit the validity time. In this way, a doctor can make a title for recognition of professional sailor and limit him instead of two years to come six months or a year for any problem.
Can epileptics have access to nautical medical examination?
Until recently, we epileptics were totally prohibited from accessing a boat. On occasion, even some cruise ship workers have come who have had an epileptic crisis and we have had to disembark them. Now in the last accreditations if a person had not had an attack for a long time, we could see everything the same as in the driver's license that an epileptic has to come with a favorable report from his neurologist and not having had a recent epileptic episode.
